Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities

1. Sourcing and Supplier Management

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure favorable terms.
  • Build and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that arise.


2. Purchasing and Cost Management

  • Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely acquisition of goods and services.
  • Analyze and manage costs to maintain a balance between quality and expenses.
  • Seek cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.


3. Market Research and Analysis

  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and prices.
  • Analyze market conditions to anticipate supply chain risks.


4. Inventory and Stock Management

  • Collaborate with inventory managers to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Prevent overstocking or under stocking by monitoring supply and demand.


5. Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure procurement activities comply with organizational policies and legal regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain.


6. Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier details.
  • Generate reports on procurement activities for management review.


7. Vendor Contract Management

  • Develop, review, and manage contracts with suppliers.
  • Ensure contract terms are adhered to and renewals are handled efficiently.

Education, Professional & Work Experience

  • The candidate must at least have a Bachelors Degree in Procurement or any related course.
  • Years of work experience (3 years)
  • Related job experience (More than 2-year experience in Procurement)
  • Industry experience (More than 2-year experience in Procurement)


Professional Knowledge

  • Proficient (Communication and coordination ability)
