General Summary:
The Assistant Project Coordinator is responsible for efficiently coordinating and managing all facets of large-scale installation projects, drivers, vehicles, and related activities. This role involves supervising staff, preparing KPIs, ensuring installation materials and tools are accounted for. The primary objective is to ensure the department's operations are efficient, effective, and aligned with the overall goals and objectives of the department and the company.
Responsibilities:
Project Coordination and Management:
- Efficiently coordinate and manage all aspects of large-scale installation projects, ensuring smooth execution from planning to completion.
Staff Supervision:
- Supervise and guide staff members to ensure optimal performance and adherence to project guidelines.
KPI Preparation:
- Develop, monitor, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure project performance and identify areas for improvement in line with the human resource department.
Material and Tool Accountability:
- Oversee the accountability and proper usage of installation materials and tools to ensure uninterrupted project progress.
Operational Efficiency:
- Work to enhance operational efficiency within the department, aligning actions with the organization's goals and objectives.
Perform any other additional task assigned by the line manager.
Key Performance Indicators
Project Timeliness:
- Achieve adherence to project timelines and deadlines for Successful completion.
Material Utilization Rate:
- Ensure effective use of installation materials to minimize wastage and control costs.
Staff Productivity:
- Attain productivity and efficiency of the in project execution.
Safety Compliance:
- Achieve strict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines during project activities.
Client Satisfaction:
- Solicit and analyze feedback from clients to gauge their level of satisfaction with the project and service quality.
Vehicle Maintenance Timeliness:
- Quantify the promptness and effectiveness of service vehicle maintenance to prevent operational disruptions.
Operational Cost Control:
- Monitor operational costs to ensure alignment with budgetary guidelines and cost-effectiveness.
Adherence to Policies and Procedures:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant industry standards in project coordination and management.
Task Completion Rate:
- Monitor the percentage of assigned additional tasks completed within the given timeframe.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in installation or construction.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to develop and analyze KPIs to measure project performance.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Working Conditions
- Full-time position with occasional travel to project sites.
