Key Responsibilities:
Diagnosis & Repair:
Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with engines, transmissions, exhaust systems, brakes, and other vehicle components.
Perform repairs and replacements of defective parts, including engines, transmissions, brakes, alternators, and batteries.
Maintenance Services:
Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and brake inspections.
Replace air filters, spark plugs, and other essential components during regular service intervals.
Technical Support:
Use diagnostic tools and computerized systems to assess vehicle performance.
Recommend repairs or adjustments based on vehicle issues and maintenance schedules.
Customer Service:
Explain vehicle issues and required repairs to customers in a clear and professional manner.
Provide advice on proper maintenance to ensure vehicle longevity and performance.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on repairs and services.
Complete service reports and provide detailed updates to customers on the status of their vehicles.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while working with hazardous materials and heavy machinery.
Follow manufacturer guidelines and industry standards for repairs and maintenance.
Team Collaboration:
Work with fellow technicians and service advisors to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
