The Aviation Management Instructor educates students on the principles of managing aviation organizations, including airlines, airports, and related businesses, with a focus on leadership and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a curriculum that covers aviation management principles.
- Teach subjects such as airline operations, airport management, and financial planning.
- Provide insights into aviation regulations, safety management systems, and strategic planning.
- Guide students in analyzing case studies and solving real-world aviation management challenges.
- Use innovative teaching methods, including interactive sessions and technology-driven tools.
- Assess students through exams, projects, and presentations.
- Keep abreast of global trends and best practices in aviation management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in aviation management or operations.
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations, safety management systems, and business practices.
- Certification in aviation management or a related field (e.g., IATA or ICAO certifications).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Prior teaching or instructional experience in aviation is an added advantage.
- Ability to integrate real-world case studies into lessons.
All instructors should also possess:
- Strong proficiency in English (oral and written).
- Advanced computer skills, particularly in training tools and software.
- A passion for teaching and mentoring students to achieve their career goals.
