Aviation Security Awareness Instructor

Job Summary:

The Aviation Security Awareness Instructor trains students in understanding and applying aviation security protocols to ensure compliance with international and national standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop training materials on aviation security concepts, including threat detection and risk management.
• Educate students on regulatory frameworks such as ICAO and TSA guidelines.
• Conduct lessons on passenger and baggage screening, airport security procedures, and emergency responses.
• Use simulations and practical scenarios to enhance students’ understanding of real-world security challenges.
• Assess student knowledge through quizzes, assignments, and practical demonstrations.
• Ensure training aligns with the latest security policies and technological advancements.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Aviation, Security Management, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in aviation security or a related discipline.
• Certification in aviation security (e.g., ICAO, IATA Aviation Security Awareness).
• Strong understanding of aviation security regulations and standards (e.g., ICAO Annex 17, TSA).
• Practical knowledge of airport security systems, risk management, and emergency response.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and instructional skills.
• Prior experience in teaching or conducting security training is preferred.

All instructors should also possess:

• Strong proficiency in English (oral and written).
• Advanced computer skills, particularly in training tools and software.
• A passion for teaching and mentoring students to achieve their career goals.
