Blow Molding Machine Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Blow Molding Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining blow molding machines to produce high-quality plastic products. This role requires a strong understanding of the blow molding process, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and troubleshoot blow molding machines to ensure efficient production of plastic parts and containers according to specifications.

Quality Control: Monitor production and inspect products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet company and customer standards.

Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks and assist in repairs to maintain machine efficiency and reduce downtime.

Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a clean workspace.

Documentation: Complete and file necessary documentation in a timely manner.

Collaboration: Assist other operators and maintenance personnel as needed, and communicate effectively with production teams.

Continuous Improvement: Participate in quality improvement projects to enhance machine efficiency and product quality.

Requirements:
Experience: 4 or more years of experience operating blow molding or similar machinery is preferred.

Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Proficiency in basic computer operations and documentation.

Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for long periods and work in a manufacturing environment.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in manufacturing or a related field is advantageous.

Work Environment:

The position is based in a manufacturing facility with regular working hours, including potential overtime as needed.

Limited travel may be required for training or maintenance purposes.
