Job Summary

Kray Microfinance (SACCO - P23354/RCS) is seeking to recruit a competent individual to oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring effective service delivery, achieving financial targets, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Job Description/Requirements

 Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Management:

    • Ensure smooth daily operations of the branch, including member services, cash management, and administrative tasks.
    • Implement and monitor compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
    • Oversee the preparation and submission of accurate branch reports.
  2. Business Development:

    • Develop and implement strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones.
    • Promote our products and services to meet the financial needs of members.
    • Identify and pursue opportunities for growth within the community.
  3. Team Leadership:

    • Supervise, mentor, and motivate branch staff to achieve performance targets.
    • Conduct regular performance appraisals and identify training needs for staff development.
    • Foster a collaborative and professional work environment.
  4. Financial Management:

    • Oversee the branch budget and ensure financial targets are met.
    • Monitor branch loan portfolio, ensuring timely disbursements and collections.
    • Manage risks, including delinquency and fraud, to safeguard the company’s assets.
  5. Customer Relations:

    • Maintain high levels of member satisfaction by addressing inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly.
    • Build strong relationships with members and the community to enhance the company's reputation.
  6. Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Ensure branch adherence to all company policies, financial regulations, and industry standards.
    • Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in SACCOs, microfinance, or banking, with 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial services, lending, and deposit mobilization.
  • Excellent understanding of SACCO operations and regulatory requirements.
