Job Description/Requirements
Reporting to: Branch Manager Uganda
Responsbilities
- Support existing businesses and development of new businesses / clients.
- Continuously review the market for new business opportunities and activities and generate profitable business prepositions. Identify new services which can be offered in the Uganda market
- Focus on the development of Key freight forwarding products: Ocean Freight / Air Freight and LCL. A clear guideline will be provided on which product the candidate needs to focus
- on based on competency.
- Keep track of competitors’ activities, plans and strategies.
- Meet and exceed monthly GP sales targets.
- Identify develop and improve commercial processes, including coordination with internal &external stakeholders
- Promote ECU Digital platform to the customers.
- Identify and pursue cross selling opportunities.
- Through structured approach expand the customer base without losing existing business. Proactively meet existing and new customers. Expected weekly customer sales visits: 18.
- Collect outstanding and control DSO.
REQUIREMENT
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or any business related.
- At least 3 years of experience in sales role in the logistics industry.
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel and other CRM tools.
- Excellent communication skills.
