Job Summary:

The position holder is responsible for generating sales for the business using a variety of sales techniques, working to improve the organization’s market position and achieve financial growth. This is both short-term by meeting set targets while at the same time planning and executing ways and strategies of expanding the same in the long-term.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products, and services.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the company products, competition in the industry and positioning.
  • Lead generation: identifying new sales leads by pitching products and services.
  • Develop quotes and proposals.
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  • Transition new clients smoothly and successfully to the account management team always
  • Deliver an excellent client experience at all times, ensuring client needs are met or exceeded


Education/Experience Needed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration or relevant.
  • Cold calling, Networking and Relationship building, Perfect Pitcher, Negotiation skills
  • At least 3 years proven working experience as a Business Development Manager or sales executive role with proven sales results.
  • Negotiation skills, ability to build rapport, time management, planning, problem solving skills, superior presentation skills.


Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Innovative and assertive, good time manager analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to consistently meet tight deadlines, extremely organized.
  • Fluent in verbal and written English.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to demonstrate patience and enthusiasm while communicating with potential clients.
