We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, and results-driven Business Development Officer to spearhead our growth and market expansion efforts.
Role Overview
The Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and enhancing the company's market presence. The ideal candidate should have a strong business acumen, excellent networking skills, and a passion for driving sales and revenue growth in the accounting and consultancy sector.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Business Growth & Client Acquisition
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s client portfolio.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends and identify potential clients.
- Initiate and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients.
✅ Strategic Planning & Market Expansion
- Develop and implement business development plans aligned with the company’s goals.
- Identify new market segments and explore innovative ways to expand the company’s service offerings.
- Monitor competitors and provide insights on industry best practices.
✅ Proposal Development & Negotiations
- Prepare compelling business proposals, presentations, and pitch decks.
- Negotiate contracts and service agreements with potential clients and partners.
- Follow up on leads and close deals effectively.
✅ Brand Promotion & Networking
- Represent the company at networking events, business expos, and corporate functions.
- Enhance Unique Management Associates’ visibility through digital marketing, social media, and corporate branding initiatives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute promotional campaigns.
✅ Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain a strong client relationship management (CRM) system.
- Gather feedback from clients to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Act as a liaison between clients and the internal team to ensure smooth service execution.
Qualifications & Requirements
✔️ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
✔️ At least 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in an accounting or consultancy firm.
✔️ Proven track record in sales, client acquisition, and revenue generation.
✔️ Strong negotiation, persuasion, and networking skills.
✔️ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
✔️ Ability to work independently, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
✔️ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
✔️ Knowledge of accounting, taxation, and financial services will be an added advantage.
