Chief Financial Officer

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee our financial reporting, manage regulatory compliance, and support our local operations. Position Overview:
The CFO will manage financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance requirements. They will lead local audits, negotiate credit facilities, and maintain regular communication with banks and financial institutions. Additionally, the CFO will ensure compliance with Central Bank of Uganda (BoU) directives, support cash flow management, and supervise financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial reporting and compliance with BoU requirements.
• Lead audit processes and collaborate with external auditors.
• Negotiate overdrafts, credit facilities, and other financing arrangements.
• Maintain clear communication and reporting with financial partners.
• Support budgeting, cash flow management, and forecasting.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal controls.

Qualifications:

• Member in good standing with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (iCPAU).
• Proven experience in financial management, accounting, or auditing.
• Experience in negotiating with banks and managing credit facilities.
• Strong understanding of BoU reporting and compliance.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, and a collaborative approach.

Preferred:

• Experience in the fintech sector or similar industry.
• Understanding of internal controls and budgeting processes.
