Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the clearance of goods through customs.
- Prepare and submit all necessary documentation for customs clearance, including import/export declarations, invoices, and certificates of origin.
- Liaise with customs authorities to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations and laws.
- Track shipments and provide updates to clients on the status of their goods.
- Work closely with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and other logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications related to customs clearance.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field.
- In-depth understanding of transportation methods, regulations, and documentation requirements.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
