Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Data Analytics Trainer to deliver comprehensive training for one or more of the following courses: Excel & Advanced Excel, Excel & Power BI, Python & Tableau, or Data Analytics in the Finance & Insurance Sector. The trainer will play a pivotal role in training delivery, curriculum refinement, assessment development, and guiding learners through project-based learning. This role requires expertise in data analytics tools and techniques, as well as a strong ability to mentor and evaluate participants effectively.

Job Description:

1. Training Delivery:
  • Conduct engaging and interactive online or offline training sessions, ensuring the coverage of theoretical concepts, practical applications, and case studies.
  • Demonstrate the use of tools such as Excel, Power BI, Python, Tableau, and advanced financial analytics techniques through real-world examples.
  • Foster a collaborative and interactive learning environment to encourage active participation.


2. Curriculum Development and Refinement:
  • Review, refine, and, where necessary, design course content, ensuring alignment with industry trends and learner needs.
  • Develop learning materials, including presentations, cheat sheets, project templates, and case study scenarios, to enhance the training experience.
  • Create a structured curriculum that includes learning objectives, detailed session plans, and progression milestones.


3. Assessment and Evaluation:
  • Develop quizzes, assignments, and projects to assess learners’ understanding and application of concepts.
  • Evaluate submitted assignments and projects, providing constructive feedback to guide improvement.
  • Design and conduct pre- and post-course evaluations to measure learner progress and course impact.


4. Project Guidance and Supervision:
  • Mentor learners through practical projects and case studies, guiding them in data preparation, analysis, visualization, and presentation.
  • Provide step-by-step assistance in implementing tools and techniques learned during the course.
  • Review and assess final projects, offering personalized feedback and recommendations.


5. Continuous Support and Mentorship:
  • Act as a point of contact for learners, addressing questions and providing additional resources to reinforce learning.
  • Offer career guidance by highlighting industry use cases, job opportunities, and application of skills gained in the course.


6. Reporting and Feedback:
  • Maintain accurate records of learner progress, attendance, and performance.
  • Provide post-training reports and analysis on course outcomes, highlighting success stories and areas for enhancement.
  • Must be able to work independently without the supervision of a senior person
  • Supporting and coordinating with every function in learning and development to complete the task as a whole.

Desired Candidate Profile/ Required Experience & Qualifications:

1. Technical Expertise:
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and techniques, including Excel (Advanced), Power BI, Python (pandas, matplotlib), Tableau, and domain-specific analytics for finance and insurance.
  • Deep understanding of data cleaning, preparation, analysis, visualization, and presentation.
  • Experience in developing predictive models, time series analysis, and machine learning applications (preferred for advanced courses).
  • Must be comfortable with working on LMS


2. Experience:
Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
Demonstrated success in curriculum development, assessment design, and conducting training sessions.
Mandatory Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, or coaching learners, preferably in a professional or online learning setting.

3. Educational Background:
  • A degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Excel Expert, Tableau Specialist, Power BI, Python) are an advantage.


Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle curriculum development and training delivery.
  • A collaborative and empathetic approach to teaching, with a focus on learner success.
