Job Summary

Harmony Skin Aesthetics is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dermatologist to join our healthcare team focusing on skin health and wellness. As an entry-level Dermatologist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat a range of skin, hair, and nail conditions while learning from experienced colleagues and enhancing your expertise in dermatology. This role is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or professionals with limited experience who are eager to grow in their careers.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Duties

• Patient Consultations: Conduct thorough consultations to assess skin health and address patients' concerns regarding dermatological conditions.
• Diagnosis and Treatment: Identify and treat common dermatological conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, fungal infections, and skin allergies.Performing invasive treatments such as PRP, microneedling, and other dermatological procedures
• Procedures: Perform basic dermatological procedures, including skin biopsies, cryotherapy, and minor surgical interventions, under supervision if necessary.
• Cosmetic Dermatology: Provide or assist with cosmetic procedures such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or laser treatments.Prescribing medications and skincare products as needed
• Education: Educate patients about skincare, prevention strategies, and post-treatment care.

Administrative Duties

•  Patient Records: Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, documenting medical history, diagnoses, treatments,follow-ups, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
•  Compliance: Stay updated on dermatology guidelines, safety protocols, and legal requirements.

Professional Development

• Participate in training sessions, workshops, and seminars to expand knowledge and stay current with advancements in dermatology.
• Learn to operate and maintain dermatology equipment effectively and safely.
• Managing side effects and complications from treatments.

Qualifications:

• Education: Medical Degree (MD or MBChB) from an accredited institution and with successful completion of internship or residency in a dermatology department and setting.
• Experience: Internship or limited post-graduate experience in dermatology preferred but not required.
