Job Purpose:

The Electrical Engineer will design, develop, and oversee electrical systems and equipment. This role involves ensuring that all electrical components are safe, reliable, and compliant with industry standards while meeting project requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and communication systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to determine electrical requirements.
• Prepare detailed specifications, drawings, and documentation for projects.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure integrated designs.
• Monitor installation and commissioning processes to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
• Perform calculations and simulations to verify system performance and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during the design and construction phases.
• Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and technologies.

Candidate Specifications:

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in electrical engineering or related fields.
• Experience with project management and client interaction is a plus.

Critical Skills Required:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP [Electrical Transient and Analysis Program, MATLAB matrix laboratory).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
