Job Description/Requirements
1. Operate excavators safely and efficiently for excavation, trenching, and material handling.
2. Follow construction plans, blueprints, and supervisor instructions.
3. Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on the excavator to ensure proper functioning.
4. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site-specific procedures.
5. Excavate and grade terrain according to specifications, avoiding damage to underground utilities.
6. Load and unload materials safely onto trucks or designated areas.
7. Work collaboratively with ground crew, engineers, and other equipment operators.
8. Monitor the condition of the machine and report any malfunctions or necessary repairs.
9. Adhere to environmental regulations and minimize the impact on surrounding areas.
10. Ensure efficient use of fuel and resources to optimize machine performance.
