Job overview
Prepare and post receipts, deposits, purchase orders, invoices, refunds, and other standard bookkeeping tasks. Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable. Review and process reimbursements. Prepare, track, and reconcile ledgers and budgets.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Publish financial statements in time
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
- Evaluating and optimizing financial controls and procedures.
- Assist with office administration duties.
- Keeping abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices in financial administration.
- Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a financial administrator, or similar.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software, such as Quick books, Zoho Books and FreshBooks.
- In-depth knowledge of financial controls and accounting standards.
- Extensive experience in financial reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Superb organizational and time management abilities.
- Great collaboration and communication skills.
