Job Summary:
The Forecourt engineer's responsibilities include repairing faults, servicing equipment, creating preventative maintenance strategies, and updating user manuals. The position holder will be responsible for providing technical support and helping our customers by responding to their requests for service in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising, Installation, configuration, and commissioning of PFMS/ORCALE on merchant sites.
- Preparing proposals for maintenance works.
- Supervising and evaluating installation and maintenance works and ensuring that the merchant issues are addressed within the set SLA.
- Monitoring installation and maintenance works to ensure they are carried out within the budget.
- Participating in sub-contractor training with and ensuring that sub-contractors adhere to the stipulated procedures.
- Facilitating analytical downtime investigations and providing technical solutions to close the gaps identified.
- Preparing maintenance reports.
- Maintaining and updating an asset register of PFMS station equipment.
- Build and maintain good relationships with merchants/customers.
- Supporting customers through technical and administrative activities
- Preparing service reports.
Education/Experience Needed:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or similar field.
- Experience with lead generation, proposal writing and prospect management.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in oil and gas industry.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, ability to work well in a team environment, ability to work under pressure and strong organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge of PFMS functions like customer onboarding, beneficiary registration and validation, account seeding, transaction processing, MIS, and Reports etc. MS Office is mandatory.
