Job Summary:

The Foundation in Travel and Tourism Instructor prepares students for careers in the travel and tourism sector by teaching foundational concepts, industry practices, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver training on the fundamentals of travel and tourism, including global geography and ticketing systems.
• Teach industry-standard practices such as itinerary planning, travel documentation, and visa processing.
• Provide an understanding of customer service, cultural awareness, and sales strategies.
• Incorporate practical activities like role-plays and project-based learning.
• Evaluate and monitor student performance through assignments and assessments.
• Stay updated with advancements in travel and tourism technologies and integrate them into teaching.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Travel and Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry or training.
• Certification in travel and tourism (e.g., IATA Foundation in Travel and Tourism).
• Strong knowledge of global geography, ticketing systems, and itinerary planning.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and instructional skills.
• Proficiency in using travel-related software and tools (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo).
• Experience in adult education or curriculum development is a plus.

• Strong proficiency in English (oral and written).
• Advanced computer skills, particularly in training tools and software.
