Required Qualifications

1. Master’s Degree in gender studies, Development Studies or Human Rights;
   
2. An Honor’s Degree in Humanities (Gender option).
   

Experience

A minimum of 3 years relevant working experience

1. Offer technical support to Colleges in planning, budgeting and monitoring Gender responsive activities;
   
2. Assist the Principal Gender officer in mainstreaming Gender in Colleges;
   
3. Be responsible for the capacity building and training of GMD student peer trainers;
   
4. Collaborate with GMD student peer trainers to implement activities to reach out to fellow students;
   
5. Coordinate the implementation of the Makerere University Gender Policy at College Level;
   
6. Coordinate the implementation of the Policy and Regulations on sexual harassment at College level;
   
7. Assist the Principal Gender Officer in implementing Gender activities in the Colleges;
   
8. Perform any other related duties as assigned from time to time by the Supervisor.
