Job Summary:

The Head of Business is responsible for overseeing the agency’s overall commercial strategy, driving client relationships, and ensuring the growth and profitability of the business. The role involves spearheading business development, managing client accounts, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional marketing and advertising solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute the agency’s business strategy aligned with its vision and market trends.
  • Identify growth opportunities and expand the agency’s portfolio of services and clients.


2. Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
  • Oversee client accounts to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business.
  • Act as the escalation point for resolving client issues.


3. Team Leadership:

  • Manage, mentor, and inspire account management, business development, and support teams.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the agency.


4. Financial Oversight:

  • Monitor and manage the agency’s budget, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability.
  • Provide regular financial and business performance reports to senior leadership.


5. Market Analysis:

  • Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to keep the agency competitive.
  • Leverage market insights to shape client strategies and pitch innovative solutions.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in a leadership role in an advertising or marketing agency.
  • Strong understanding of advertising trends, creative processes, and media planning.
  • At least 3 years of experience in business development, account management, or similar roles within the advertising industry.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage high-stakes client relationships.
  • Strategic thinking with a results-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Leadership skills with experience in team development and performance management.
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
