Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
A. Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships.
B. Team Management:
- Lead and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Recruit, train, and develop sales staff.
- Set performance targets and evaluate team members.
C. Sales Operations:
- Manage sales processes, from lead generation to closure.
- Negotiate and close large-scale deals.
- Ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- At least 10+ years of sales experience in FMCG or agribusiness
- Experience in Poultry sector sales in the East African market shall have an added advantage
- Proven track record of sales success and team leadership.
- Strong understanding of East African markets.
- Sales certification (e.g., CPS, CSM).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
