Job Summary:
La petit Village Hotel is actively seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Supervisor. The Hotel Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring exceptional guest service, managing staff, and maintaining efficient front desk procedures. This role involves supervising the front desk team, handling guest inquiries and concerns, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Front Desk Staff: Lead, train, and motivate front desk agents to deliver outstanding service. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
- Guest Relations: Address guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and effectively. Ensure that guests have a positive experience from check-in to check-out.
- Check-In/Check-Out Procedures: Oversee the check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Handle cash and credit transactions securely.
- Staff Scheduling: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak and off-peak times.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage front desk supplies and ensure that the desk is adequately stocked.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of room availability, occupancy, and revenue.
- Prepare reports as required by management.
- Policy Enforcement: Ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
- Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve operational issues as they arise, making decisions that benefit both the guest experience and the hotel.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory position.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
