Laboratory Technician

Job Summary:

The Laboratory Technician is responsible for conducting experiments and assisting in the development of chemical-based products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and conduct chemical experiments, tests, and analyses to support product development initiatives.
• Handle and manage chemicals safely, ensuring compliance with laboratory safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of experiments, processes, and test results for analysis and reporting.
• Assist in the development, formulation, and testing of new products in collaboration with the product development team.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
• Monitor inventory levels of chemicals and lab supplies, and coordinate replenishment when necessary.
• Ensure the lab workspace is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Identify potential safety risks and implement measures to mitigate them during chemical handling and experiments.
• Support quality control activities by testing and analyzing product samples for compliance with specifications.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and innovative solutions.
  
  

Requirements:

• Diploma in Chemistry or a related field.
• Knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and chemical safety protocols.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills to maintain precise lab records.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow experimental protocols accurately.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the product development team.
