Required Qualifications
- PhD is statistics or Economics or Mathematics or Computer Science or Data Science;
- Masters in Quantitative Economics or Masters in Statistics or Masters in Actuarial Sciences or Masters in Mathematics or Masters in Economics is an added advantage;
- Honours Bachelors of Science in Quantitative Economics or Bachelor of Statistics or BSc with Statistics and Economics or BSc. Business Statistics or BSc. (Mathematics and Statistics) or BSc. Actuarial Sciences.
- Teach, examine and grade students;
- Supervise research for students;
- Mentor junior staff;
- Conduct research and community outreach activities;
- Write proposals for attracting funding to the department;
- Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
