The Maintenance/Facilities Manager oversees the upkeep and safety of the institute’s buildings, grounds, and facilities. This role ensures that the environment is functional and well-maintained for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, including repairs, cleaning, and safety inspections.
- Manage maintenance staff, schedule shifts, and oversee vendor contracts for outsourced services.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and implement preventive measures.
- Coordinate facility improvement projects and budget for maintenance expenses.
- Maintain records of repairs, safety checks, and inventory.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in maintenance or facilities management.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
