Manager Planning, Monitoring And Evaluation

Job Purpose

To monitor, evaluate and inspect the performance of the Authority.

a. Qualifications

i) An Honour’s Bachelor’s Degree in either Monitoring and Evaluation Studies,Economics, Statistics, Population Studies, Project Planning and Entrepreneurship orBusiness Statistics from a recognized University.

ii) A Master’s degree in any of the above.

b. Experience

At least nine (09) years relevant working experience, three (3) of which should havebeen at Principal level from a reputable Organisation.

I. Developing the Authority’s Monitoring and Evaluation framework.

II. Preparation of the monitoring and evaluating budget performance.

III. Supervising the establishment and maintenance the Monitoring and Evaluationinformation management system.

IV. Overseeing the preparation of periodic institutional performance reports.

V. Supervising impact and performance assessment of Projects and programmes ofthe Authority.

VI. Building capacity of staff in the application of monitoring and evaluation conceptsand tools.

VII. Developing monitoring and evaluation results frameworks and related tools.

VIII. Monitoring the Authority’s Monitoring and Evaluation plans for conformity withthe National Development Plan and Tourism Sector plans.

IX. Coordinating the mid-term and final implementation reviews of the AuthorityStrategic Plans and Projects.

X. Developing a framework for identifying crosscutting policy issues that affectperformance in the Authority.

XI. Evaluating the quality of performance indicators and tracking of service deliveryin line with the identified indicators.

XII. Supervising and appraising staff.
