Job Description/Requirements
The Market Intelligence Analyst provides critical analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making, identify market opportunities, and enhance the company’s competitive advantage. The role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting market data, trends, and customer preferences to inform marketing, sales, and product development initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (Honors) in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to gather data on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviors. Analyze market dynamics and demand forecasts to identify business opportunities and risks. Evaluate product positioning and performance within target markets.
- Competitive Intelligence: Monitor and assess competitor strategies, pricing models, product offerings, and marketing tactics. Develop competitor benchmarking reports to provide actionable insights to the management team. Propose strategies to counter competitive threats and capitalize on opportunities.
- Data Collection and Reporting: Collect data from primary and secondary sources, including surveys, customer feedback, and industry reports. Develop detailed market intelligence reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders. Maintain and update databases of market, customer, and competitive information.
- Sales and Marketing Support: Provide data-driven insights to support marketing campaigns, sales strategies, and product development. Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to analyze customer acquisition and retention trends. Assist in segmenting markets and identifying target customers for growth opportunities.
- Forecasting and Business Planning: Develop forecasts for market trends, customer demand, and revenue projections. Support the development of business plans and strategies based on market insights. Identify potential new markets and evaluate their feasibility for business expansion.
- Customer Insights: Analyze customer needs, preferences, and feedback to support the development of tailored marketing strategies. Conduct customer satisfaction surveys to evaluate brand performance and areas for improvement.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work with cross-functional teams to provide market intelligence insights that inform product design, pricing, and promotional strategies. Present findings to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Performance Metrics and KPIs: Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track market intelligence impact. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing and sales strategies based on market trends.
