Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Mortgage Sales Personnel to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Promoting and selling Mortgage products, assisting potential customers with the mortgage application process, building relationships, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the process. This role is essential to achieving sales targets and ensuring customers receive the best possible financial solutions for their needs.
Key Responsibilities.
Sales and Client Acquisition.
- Proactively generate leads through various channels, including referrals, networking, and marketing campaigns
- Educate potential customers about mortgage options, rates, and terms to match their financial goals and needs.
- Guide clients through the mortgage application process, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and submitted.
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets by converting leads into successful mortgage agreements.
Customer Service.
- Build and maintain a strong relationship with clients, offering personalized mortgage advice and ongoing support.
- Provide clear, timely communication throughout the mortgage process, keeping clients informed at each stage.
- Address and resolve any customer concerns or issues, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish.
Financial product knowledge.
- Stay informed on current market trends, mortgage products, and regulatory changes to provide clients with the most accurate and up-to date information.
Documentation and Compliance.
- Ensure all mortgage applications comply with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Accurately complete mortgage applications, ensuring all customer details are correct and comprehensive.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and follow-ups in the CRM System.
Collaboration and Reporting.
- Work closely with the underwriting, Legal and administration teams to ensure smooth and timely processing of mortgage applications.
- Regularly report on sales performance, client feedback and market trends to management.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions and other initiatives to improve sales processes and product knowledge.
Requirements:
Experience:
- Previous experience in mortgage sales, particularly in financial services, loans, or related fields, is preferred but not essential
Skills:
- Strong understanding of mortgage products and the application process
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to tailor offerings to meet customer needs
- Proficient in Using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Personal Qualities:
- Goal-oriented with a strong focus on achieving sales targets.
- Highly organized, Self -motivated and able to work under pressure
- Ability to handle sensitive customer financial information with discretion and confidentiality.
Education
- Bachelor in Accounting, Microfinance, Business administration or any related field.
- Mortgage or financial qualification such as CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) is an Advantage
