Risk and Compliance Officer

1. Risk Management:

• Develop and implement a risk management framework for the organization.

• Conduct risk assessments across all departments and branches.

• Monitor key risk indicators and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Prepare and present risk reports to management and the Board.

2. Credit Risk Oversight:

• Participate in the Credit Committee as a permanent member.

• Review and assess loan applications for risk exposure.

• Monitor loan portfolio performance and flag potential delinquencies.

• Recommend credit risk controls and enhancements to credit policies.

3. Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements set by the central bank and other relevant authorities.

• Monitor compliance with internal policies and procedures.

• Coordinate audits and inspections and track implementation of recommendations.

• Train staff on risk awareness and compliance matters.

4. Branch Oversight:

• Conduct periodic risk and compliance reviews across all branches.

• Support branch teams in implementing risk controls.

• Report branch-specific risk and compliance issues to the Managing Director.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Law, or related field
• Strong knowledge of credit risk and regulatory frameworks
• High ethical standards and integrity.
  
• Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
  
• Willingness to travel regularly to branches.
