Job Description/Requirements
As a Sales Executive – POS Solutions, you will play a key role in helping businesses (retail, hospitality, restaurants, supermarkets, and other service-based industries) optimize their sales operations through our POS technology. Key roles
1. Sales & Business Development

Identify and pursue new business opportunities by targeting retail stores, restaurants, supermarkets, hotels, and other businesses that require POS solutions.

Develop and implement a sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets.

Conduct outbound prospecting via cold calls, networking events, referrals, and online channels to generate leads.

Schedule meetings with decision-makers to present the benefits of our POS solutions.

Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches, presentations, and live product demos to potential clients.

Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, and payment terms to close deals successfully.
2. Client Engagement & Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and providing tailored POS solutions.

Guide customers through the sales process, from initial inquiry to onboarding and after-sales support.

Work closely with clients to identify pain points in their sales and inventory management and demonstrate how our POS system can solve these challenges.

Ensure high customer satisfaction by providing ongoing support and training to maximize the client’s use of the POS system.

Maintain regular follow-ups with clients to ensure retention and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
3. Product Knowledge & Technical Consultation

Develop deep expertise in POS software and hardware to effectively answer customer questions and offer the best solutions.

Stay updated on trends in retail technology, payment processing, and inventory management to position our POS solutions competitively.

Collaborate with the technical team to address customer customization requests or technical concerns.

Educate customers on integration capabilities with payment gateways, accounting software, e-commerce platforms, and inventory management tools.
4. Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking

Maintain an organized sales pipeline using a CRM system and update records of leads, contacts, proposals, and sales progress.

Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to management.

Track key performance indicators (KPIs), including lead conversion rates, deal closure rates, and revenue growth.

Analyze customer feedback and market trends to recommend improvements in sales strategies.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, lead generation strategies, and product positioning.

Coordinate with the customer support team to ensure smooth onboarding and after-sales service.

Provide insights to the product development team regarding customer needs and potential feature enhancements for the POS system.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.-
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, specifically selling POS solutions.

Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive industry.

Experience working with retail businesses, restaurants, supermarkets, or the hospitality industry is highly desirable.

Familiarity with cloud-based POS systems, inventory management, and payment gateway integrations.

Proficiency in using CRM tools, sales automation software, and reporting tools.
