Job Overview
The SAP FICO Consultant is responsible for implementing and optimizing SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules to support the organization’s financial operations. This role involves analyzing business requirements, configuring SAP FICO solutions, and providing ongoing support to ensure efficient and effective financial processes.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
1. System Implementation and Configuration:
- Configure SAP FI and CO modules based on business requirements and best practices.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current processes and SAP functionalities.
- Customize SAP FICO settings to align with financial processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset accounting.
2. Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering:
- Work with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to financial processes.
- Analyze and translate business requirements into SAP FICO solutions.
- Design and document functional specifications for custom development, if needed.
3. Integration and Testing:
- Ensure integration between SAP FICO modules and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD) and third-party systems.
- Develop and execute test plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify and resolve issues and defects during the testing phase.
4. Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to end-users on SAP FICO functionalities and best practices.
- Develop user documentation and training materials.
- Offer post-implementation support and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
5. Process Improvement:
- Continuously assess and improve financial processes and SAP FICO configurations.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization within SAP FICO.
- Stay updated on SAP best practices, new functionalities, and industry trends.
6. Project Management:
- Participate in SAP FICO project planning, including scope definition, timeline, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with project managers, developers, and other consultants to ensure project milestones are met.
- Manage project documentation and ensure adherence to project methodologies.
7. Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure that SAP FICO processes comply with financial regulations and internal controls.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for SAP FICO configurations and processes.
- Prepare reports and documentation for audits and compliance reviews.

Effective integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules and third-party systems.

- Completion of training sessions and workshops for end-users.
- User feedback on the effectiveness of training and support.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - Financial Accounting) are preferred.
- Experience: At least 4 years proven experience with SAP implementation, configuration, and support in a business environment.
- Proven experience as an SAP FICO Consultant with a strong understanding of SAP S/4 HANA FICO module for manufacturing preferable in Textile Company.
- Must have good knowledge in FI-SD, FI-MM, and FI_PP integration.
- Knowledge of Product Costing and Profitability analysis is must. Knowledge of financial accounting, cost controlling, and management accounting principles.
- Knowledge of additional SAP modules or functionalities (e.g., SAP BW, SAP BPC) is a plus.
