Job Description/Requirements

JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Receive materials and non-stock items and get quality checks done by the Quality department before these are stored or received in the Storage areas.
  • Make records for items taken in and from the stores.
  • Assist the Head of Stores in strategically managing the Kenrom Stores/Warehouse in compliance with the Company’s policies and vision.
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, issuance and maintenance operations including good housekeeping in the stores and cleanliness/tidiness to ensure that materials and products are in good physical and hygienic conditions and ready for dispatch to the Customers.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to set up layout and ensure efficient space utilization in the Stores while adhering to the safety precautions with regards to stacking and easy access to all items in storage for accurate stock taking and monitoring.
  • Take part in the Initiation, coordination and enforcement of optimal operational policies and procedures in the Stores department.
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping document requirements.
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with the data storage system/ inventory system.
  • Participate actively in the stock take activities monthly and participate in setting strategies to ensure that the process is successfully completed including having all arrangements finalized before and after the exercise.
  • Liaise with Finance, Procurement and Transport departments for smooth operations while coordinating requirements and obligations with these departments regarding the stores/Warehouse activities.
  • Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc.)
  •  Ensure that the inventory in the Stores is managed appropriately and accounted for on a daily basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in Supply chain management.
  • Bachelors degree in Transport and Logistics Management (Option 2).


WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Reasonable experience not less than one year with a very good record of managing ware- houses preferably in FMCGs companies.
