POSITION PURPOSE:
To play a critical role in managing the tendering process within an organization, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.
JOB ROLES AND EXPECTATIONS:
Duties
Managing Tender Processes:
- Coordinate and oversee the entire tender lifecycle, from advertisement to submission and award.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of tender documents.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management on tender activities, performance, and key findings.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Ugandan tendering regulations and procedures.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges associated with each tender opportunity.
- Stay updated on the latest changes to Ugandan tendering laws and regulations.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure that all tender documents meet legal, regulatory, and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all tender-related activities for audits and future reference.
Facilitating Communication:
- Act as a liaison between internal departments (Sales team, finance, operations) and external stakeholders (clients, contractors and suppliers).
- Address queries and clarifications related to tenders.
Any other Duties
- Ensure that any other duty assigned by Sales Head/Management is executed to their expectations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Procurement, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing the full tender lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of Ugandan tendering processes, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with Furniture & Stationery industry tenders and regulations is highly advantageous.
- 2 years of progressive experience preferably in the same position.
- Good logical thinking ability, communication ability and execution ability
