Training Officer - Uganda

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collate, Analyse, and execute day-to-day training needs in the sales and field operations teams.
• Conduct training sessions for new and current sales personnel with greater emphasis on Train the Trainer programs.
• Systematically collect feedback from trainers and trainees and identify the emergent issues during the process including delivery methodology and satisfaction levels.
• Generate results, continuously measure the performance of trainees after the session and propose changes where necessary.
• Coordinate with external trainers whenever required.
• Execute Training of Trainers programs for TL’s, TSM’s & RSM’s.
• Stay up to date with the BURN manufacturing training curriculum & training content.
• Liaise with senior training officer on day-to-day training needs of sales and field operations teams, propose remedial actions and follow-up for remedial actions.
• Knowledge of the carbon market, the causes of climate change and its global effects, and the passion for discussions about environmental issues will be a definite plus.
  
  

Skills and Experience:

• At least 2-3 years of experience as a trainer
• Well-versed in the local country’s geography, main languages, and culture
• Superior communication skills
• Very good at working with G-suite/MS word
• Willingness to travel frequently within the country (up to 50% travel) E – Excellent reporting skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Previous experience as a Trainer of Trainers would be an added.
• Experience working with a Knowledge Management Platform (KMP) or Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Experience working in an FMCG environment is an added advantage
• Exposure or understanding of the carbon operating environment is an added advantage
