Vocational Training Teacher – Tailoring, Fashion, and Design

Job Summary:

We are seeking passionate and skilled Vocational Training Teachers to teach courses in Tailoring, Fashion, and Design. The ideal candidates will have expertise in these fields and a desire to inspire and educate students, equipping them with the practical skills needed for a successful career in the fashion industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach students the fundamentals of tailoring, fashion design, and garment construction.
• Provide hands-on training in sewing, pattern making, and fabric selection.
• Monitor and support students in practical workshops, ensuring safety standards are met.
• Prepare students for certification or exams, as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Certification or diploma in fashion design, tailoring, or a related field.
• Previous experience in the fashion industry or teaching vocational courses.
• Proven experience in tailoring, fashion design, or a related field.
• A teaching qualification or previous experience in a vocational training setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about teaching and mentoring students.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.

Working Conditions:

• Working Days: 3 days per week
• Salary: 300,000 UGX during a 3-month probation period.
