We are looking for personable and dedicated Waitresses to join our Jamaican-themed restaurant in Kampala. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional service, creating memorable experiences for our guests, and contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of our establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present menus, answer questions, and provide recommendations on food and beverages.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen staff.
• Serve meals and beverages promptly, ensuring high standards of presentation.
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints with professionalism.
• Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
• Clear and clean tables, ensuring the restaurant is tidy and presentable at all times.
• Assist in setting up the dining area for service, including arranging tables and stocking supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service operations.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Waitress or in a similar role is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
