Job Description/Requirements
World Host Group is a global web hosting provider operating several major brands like Stablepoint and Mochahost. It runs over 1,000,000 websites for businesses globally, and websites are based on top of our datacentres around the world.
The main reasons customers come to us is the fact that they trust us with their websites, not just because even our first line support have the technical experience to help with and understand complex issues, but because our technical support and management are relatable, approachable and understanding.
We’re looking for more Web Hosting experts to join our team. We’re providing top quality support, so we want experienced Web Hosting aficionados, who work with it day to day and love it. We try and engineer out as much of the basic first-level support as possible, allowing you to focus on debugging issues and making customers happy.
Staff wellbeing is extremely important to us, so we have offices in some of the nicest locations possible. Because our servers are all 'public cloud' there is no need for them to be situated on industrial estates next to datacentres. We are currently looking to hire more web hosting support agents in our Uganda office.
We’re a friendly team, with a hard-working collaborative startup mentality. We follow best practices, with every fix diagnosed, and we’d rather get things done properly than rush and do a less than perfect job. We won’t settle for less than 100% customer satisfaction.
You will be handling live chats, tickets or phone calls. You will be working shifts with occasional evenings and weekends (but no overnights).
